This is going to be a mix of random different days that I wanted to blog about but didn't.

First off... I had a quality fun catching-up date =]

This was my first meal of that day.

So unhealthy, but so tasty.

Funny story behind this photo:

We were sitting in the car camwhoring, trying to get a nice photo, but we didn't realize that there was some guy waiting for our spot haha. So for a really long time... he just stared at us, and watched us camwhored. He looked super annoyed. I feel bad for making him wait so long for our spot, but we really didn't notice him LOL

Saw these cute Aero chocolate bars.

Bought all three flavors there lol

This is what the chocolate bar looks like.

It looks different, but it taste exactly the same as the normal Aero. I don't know why they decided to market the chocolate this way.

Random night when my friends and I decided to try a newly opened restaurant, but we didn't make a reservation and the restaurant was fully booked, so we ended up eating at a pub hahaha

Here's my friend teaching me how to make a face that makes your cheekbones stand out more.

I'm obviously not very good at it. My mouth looks retarded but my face looks pointier lol!

Then when you give up, just use your hands to help haha!

That was also the night when we had really sad bellinis =(

I have never had such an ugly AND bad tasting bellini. Warning to those of you who eat at Wing's. Do not order their bellini D=

And completely opposite of the sad bellini, I had an extremely pleasant surprise one day after work.

No matter how crappy your day was at work, how can you not smile when someone gives you something this sweet? ^3^

Seattle - Crab Pot & Gum Wall

Another late post haha.
Despite having been to Seattle quite a few times, I never got to try the Crab Pot or see the gum wall, so the plan was to do those two things.

Birthdays means food

It was a food-filled weekend. Aside from eating out just because, there were two birthday parties so I felt like I did not stop eating the entire weekend. I ended up being so full that I was burping food back up hahaha (too much info?).

The first birthday dinner I went to was to celebrate Rilifit's birthday.
We had hotpot and sashimi and oh my gawd was I full X_X.

I really like this group pic and how it's like a fish-eye effect. Too bad not everyone was in it =(

Girl's din + Failed almond cookies =(

I went to dinner with two of my girl friends because we had this coupon for this restaurant that we have never even heard of lol!

I had a hard time trying to find the entrance to the restaurant because I didn't know it was inside a hotel =_=.

Anyway... started off the night with some camwhoring shots while we waited for the food.

By then, I was starving... and my stomach was hurting because I was so hungry...

First dish: Butter chicken =9

I wish it wasn't spicy though...

Honestly, this dish sucked. The batter was soggy and not crispy/crunchy at all.

My fav out of the three dishes we ordered. Maybe it's because I'm a gnocchi fan.

Dinner was fun. I should go and use up my random coupons for all these places I have not been to so I can try all the different restaurants.

Anyway!...

I found this recipe for almond cookies, so K and I baked (or attempted at baking) almond cookies for Valentine's Day...

If you ask me, I think the cookies turned out pretty nice-looking ;)

Unfortunately, they didn't have enough almond-ness and they didn't stay crunchy. I was so disappointed.

I am not sure if I just suck a baking or if it's the recipe's fault. Most likely the former, though haha.

How did you guys celebrate Valentine's Day?

New foodie adventures!

I haven't been to any new restaurants to try new food for a while, excluding dine-out haha.
So I was SO happy to have gone to these different restaurants the past two weeks =]

My friend brought me to this restaurant in Chinatown... and I cannot believe that no one has ever told me about this restaurant earlier! Their food was so good =9

I would tell you the name of the dishes, but since my friend ordered everything, I have no idea what the dishes are called haha. I didn't even look at the menu.

Here's some beef sashimi with a shit ton of cilantro on top (eww lol) but the beef was so good.

This was beef with rice and egg. Yum yum yum!

Really yummy chicken wings with an amazing dipping sauce.

Next place...
My friends suggested to go to this restaurant because they had late night specials... and that is what we did.

Okay... this is the only photo I have of the food from that restaurant.

It's salmon and beef carpaccio.

Why do I only have one photo of the food there?
The food was tasty, yes. And the prices were good too since it was late-night... But the service... WOW. The service was mind-blowingly bad. Horrible!
We were in that restaurant for 3 hours because the service was so slow and they kept forgetting our order. One of our friends didn't even get his tea until our check came =_=.

Anyway...

While I was at the liquor store with my friend, we saw this Yellow Tail Pink Bubbles wine. It was so cute and pink and so we bought it to try haha.

I should have taken a photo of it before I teared away the pink wrapper...

The wine was a little pinkish in color too

We went to a Korean place called Zabu Chicken to try their chicken.

Look what it says on the menu:

Haha ignore the fobby English on there, but holy, the chicken has been deep fried 3 freakin times to ensure that the chances of you getting a heart attack is increased significantly.

Here are the triple-fried chicken.

They tasted good, but not like whoa good.

Let's just say more beer and soju was ordered than the chicken haha.
