A day with Ching & Oscar

Done my midterm this morning! So relieved =]
After classes, I spent most of my day with Ching.

But before I talk about that,

Sooo... it was really sunny and we brought Oscar to a nearby park for a walk. He was super excited... In fact, so excited that he was shaking LOL. It looked kinda scary at first because I thought he was cold or something.

Like a small puff of fur! Hahaha. SO cute!

Aside from being entertained by watching the little puff-ball run around, we also saw some pretty interesting things at the park...

Like these trees with super spikey leaves O_O

These trees are apparently called Monkey Puzzle. I have never heard of them before...

We also saw these gigantic red mushrooms.

They looked super poisonous...

More weird trees... But this time, it is not "nature's" weirdness.

These trees were painted blue by people. We were wondering why... lol

Near the end of the walk, Oscar was being carried back to the car like a little baby XD

After the walk, Oscar was still really energetic while Ching and I were tired and hungry LOL (super fail).
I had a sudden craving for the teppanyaki at Aberdeen so we went to eat Teppan Kitchen.

I ordered the beef teppanyaki with rice =]

And here's Ching's katsu with rice

Both were sizzling good. Mmm...
We also did a little attempt at finding a costume for her but couldn't find any. I think we need to dedicate a day to go different places to search for a good costume ;)

Bubble Tea Day

My day has been invaded by Taiwanese food today...
Started off by going to lunch. We were planning to go to a ramen place at first, but when we got there, it was closed. So we went to eat at Bubble World on Capstan Way.

It was good, though. And really cheap too.

After a filling meal, we had to digest it away. So NC and I went to take his dog for a walk.

And we let him play on the slide.

Haha. He was so cute. He went down the slide himself!

After the walk... it was time for a second round of bubble tea =_=, but this bubble tea gathering was planned... not because we went there because another place was closed.

Rebecca and I went to Pearl Castle at Richmond Center to meet up with some friends we haven't seen for almost 10 years XD

Pudding Milk Tea

This didn't have the caramel-y taste that pudding milk tea usually has...

I think pudding milk tea tastes better with the caramel taste.

Despite its name, the noodles were not dry at all.

LOL I have no idea what this was... I forgot to ask my friend what he ordered.

But the cup was so fat and cute so I took a picture of it.

I asked the server if the squid was squid tentacles or the rings of squid. She said they were the rings.

I ordered it and got these triangular shaped squid pieces... She lied.

It was so nice to see some old friends again... it's been almost 10 years... I feel old for saying this, but, time passes by so fast.

After everybody else left, Rebecca and I camwhored outside because my phone has an awesome app LOL

I look chubby in this one, but you look good. So I uploaded it. I am so nice.

And then, out of nowhere, we decided to go take sticker pictures.

I guess because we were feeling like having a nostalgic night (LOL sounds so retarded). Haven't done sticker pictures for such a long time, but it was so fun =D

But their waffles weren't exceptionally good. I like the ones at What8ver and WE Coffee better.

End of night... We were both tired, but it was only 11:30pm - not even. Wtf. We are getting so old.

New Nails + Meanie Oscar at Steveston

I've been neglecting my nails for a while... because I was busy and lazy. More on the lazy side, but...
My nails finally get some color again XD
I realized that I didn't do a very good job painting the pink now that I'm looking at the pictures.

It was a really nice day out today. The sun is finally out after days (or maybe even a whole week) of gloomy, chilly weather.
I woke up super late because I was so tired...
Ching called me and asked me if I wanted to take her dog, Oscar, on a walk with her. Of course I do!

So she came over with Oscar. Muffin didn't welcome the small dog at all.

We decided to bring Oscar to Garrypoint for a walk.

While we were there, we decided to eat.

Lining up for Fish n' Chips at Pajo's.

I noticed Fish Nuggets on the menu. Both of us have not tried it, so we decided to give it a try.

It was a very decent portion for $5.99. It was good, but the only thing we didn't like was that were was so much batter and not enough fish, haha.

Oscar really wanted some of our fish n' chips.

Ching was being so mean and taunting Oscar with little pieces XD

There were two guys behind us... who were trying to hit on Ching... or Oscar hahaha.

We started to camwhore while waiting for our foods and trying to block the guys at the back

After fish n' chips. It's frozen yogurt at Timothy's. It's a must for me =D

After feeding ourselves, we finally did what we went to Garrypoint to do; take Oscar on a walk. Haha.

There were so many people flying kites on the field.

Ching loves Oscar

We saw some super pretty flowers on that dead-looking piece of land. I wonder if they were wild flowers... but they were so pretty!

Bahahahaha I LOVE this picture I took of Oscar with those pretty flowers.

Later on, this group of people with their beautiful dog came and Oscar made a new friend... kind of.

They didn't particularly liked each other, as you can see from this picture.

 

Haha. They only sat together because their owners told them to =P.

Once we took the photo, Oscar ran away.

The other dog's name is Nina - unsure about the spelling. She was so friendly and unlike Oscar, who bites me >=(.

She has this app that makes our skin look flawless and glowy XD

Then it was dinner-time for fluffy Oscar, so we left.

While driving back, Oscar sat on my lap! XD

He was so warm and fluffy. I want to keep him... but Muffin would disapprove, haha.

Such a fun day today ^_^. I had so much fun chilling with Ching and attempting to take pics of Oscar... and with him of course lol.
